For browser I recommend you upgrade to the latest version.

2 questions:
Do you use any backup tools or even Windows 7 built in backup solution?
Is UAC turned on and at what level?

@Malware Maniac: considering OP security risk is low, MBAM as an On Demand on its own is good enough without resorting to EEK or HMP. HMP simply as a scanner but then the user will need to manually remove the infections unless you activate the trial or pay for the license.

hello, to the firefox version I use so the ESR is the latest version, its advantage is that it allows for all extensions without exception, I have as a backup acronis true image uac mode is set by default
