I tried playing Diablo 1 on windows. 8.1 and after few seconds windows is freezing any solution please?

There is an HD mod for Diablo that supports widescreen resolutions, improved interface and makes it work better on modern machines, along with various graphical upgrades.

Compatibility check should be your first action however reducing it will make a little bit slow so it needs a wrapper like on this link:

Microsoft Compatibility website marks without issue for this specific game even though many users voted X marks.

i am getting this error
