The WhiteHat Aviator Advantage
  • Go with a more complete solution. Make the most of a fully featured, modern, standards-compliant Web browser with complete private browsing. It also supports tens of thousands of extensions.
  • Use proven, open-source Chromium code. This is the same stable code base that Google uses—so you can add in any Chrome extension to WhiteHat Aviator;.
  • Take off with pre-set security. Just open WhiteHat Aviator for the best privacy and security safeguards—already preconfigured and active. Security is enabled by default.
  • Eliminate hidden tracking. Block privacy-destroying tracking from advertisers and social media companies using the Disconnect extension. No advertiser cookies, no caches, no problem.
  • Say goodbye to advertising . Unlike the big corporate browsers, we’re not partnering with advertisers or selling your click data.
  • Prevent unwanted access. Block internal address space to prevent malicious Web pages from hitting your websites, routers, and firewalls.

I use SlimJet, it is a Chrome clone with nice features and unlike many chrome clones they stay very close to Google Chrome version wise. :) The current SlimJet version is v1.1.3.0 and is based on Chromium 36.0.1985.125.

@Holysmoke, consider these comments about Aviator browser, on another website, please:

solmaker • 2 months ago
Aviator was repeatedly showing up com.whitehatsec.aviator.dmg in Disk Utility. Finally I was able to remove Library/LaunchAgents/com.aviator.agent.plist etc. as described in solmaker posts at https://discussions.apple.com/.... As a huge side benefit, my system no longer hangs for a minute on shutdown!

I have also noticed this. I tried to delete the dmg file from Finder but it came back automatically. It seems that the Aviator is the MOST UNTRUSTABLE browser. The most secure browser will NEVER prevent user to delete any file from their own computer!

For security it can be a problem ?
(chrome 33 :( )
I also use comodo dragon,if you use comodo's DNS servers,it will protect you from malicious sites, but you could not enjoy chrome's latest features...............

Running Aviator on Windows 7 - that issue doesn't exist. If anyone is brave enough to try it I believe that a MAC update has been released.

I would recommend Slimjet from http://www.slimjet.com.
They push updates about every one or two weeks. And they pretty much stay up to date with the latest release of Chromium with only a couple of weeks' lag.

They provide a decent set of handy features and options on top of Chromium. In 1.2.9, they have included an interesting batch of anti-tracking options to protect privacy: http://www.slimjet.com/en/webhelp/tracking-prevention-options.htm

Hello,
Is there any good browser based on chromium with regular updates ?

SRWare Iron is no longer open source if i remmber correctly :/
it has never been open source.since version 6 of this junk the code has not been available for scrutiny from rapidshare.its just a chrome browser in a different dress.
