Google Chrome redirects and popups

Help. Whatever this is, it is persistent and can't be removed by anti malware programs. I see I'm not the only one with this type of problem but stuck as to what to do next apart from running FRST, Adwcleaner and aswMBR and attaching the logs. Aaaaagh!! I would be grateful for any assistance.

First, go to Control Panel and uninstall following (skip program/s that cannot be uninstalled):
- ExpressShipper

Open FRST, and click Fix. Attach me that report after it is finished.

Unpack the archive...

• Close any open browsers
• Temporarily disable your AntiVirus program. (If necessary)

• Double click on zoek.exe to run the tool .
  Please wait while the tool does not start...
  
• Copy the text present inside the code box below and paste it into the large window in the zoek tool:

I have disabled the antivirus program. I downloaded the zip file and extracted files to the desktop and run zoek but nothing happens. I can see in the task manager that it is running but sometimes, after a while it stops. I left it running last night and it was still running this morning according to the task manager but no screen appears. I downloaded the actual exe file from the site and tried it again and even tried running it in safe mode. I have run it by double clicking on the exe file and also by right-clicking on the exe file and run it as administrator but no luck.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Ok, forget about Zoek.


Please download AdwCleaner by Xplode and save to your Desktop.

Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool.

• Click on the Scan button.
• After the scan has finished click on the Clean button.

Press OK when asked to close all programs and follow the onscreen prompts.
Press OK again to allow AdwCleaner to restart the computer and complete the removal process.

• After rebooting, a logfile report (AdwCleaner[S0].txt) will open automatically.
• Post logfile will also be saved in the C:\AdwCleaner folder.

Hi. OK that's done but I have run Adwcleaner before. I attach the latest log (S3) but, in case they give any clues as to what is going on, I also attach S0 to S2 from the last few days.

Looking good. I have been opening a lot of webpages in Chrome and no popups (I would have had some by now).


Is it worth running another anti-malware program alongside our Managed Antivirus software and, if so, any recommendations?

About your security question, I think Antivirus is enough.
My recommendation also is:

• The following will implement some post-cleanup procedures:

=> Please download DelFix by Xplode to your Desktop.

Run the tool and check the following boxes below;

Remove disinfection tools

Create registry backup

Purge System Restore
Click Run button and wait a few seconds for the programme completes his work.
At this point all the tools we used here should be gone. Tool will create an report for you (C:\DelFix.txt)

The tool will also record healthy state of registry and make a backup using ERUNT program in %windir%\ERUNT\DelFix
Tool deletes old system restore points and create a fresh system restore point after cleaning.
