Hello there!
Guess this is a classic, but I'm having trouble with Google ads. This was surely because of some incautious installations or similar, but now I have to solve it out because it has become very annoying and I can't stand it during my net surfing. I provided many types of remedies, trying to use Cleaning or Removal Tools, such as AdwCleaner, Malwarebytes and similar tools. Nothing works effectively.
When I select clean on AdwCleaner, it goes through its process, restarts my computer, but the file is still there when I run it again. I've tried manually deleting the file. After that it doesn't show up in adwcleaner, but when I restart my computer, it comes back. I decided to leave it alone for a little, but then more adware files began popping up in adwcleaner. Cleaning removes every file but the Secure Preferences one. AdwCleaner isn't finding any other files so I can't tell what is causing the change in the file. I've looked through my programs and ran a full scan on Avira but I cannot find anything. Chrome keeps giving me the error "Chrome detected that some of your settings were corrupted by another program and reset them to their original defaults". I'm pretty sure this is connected to the Secure Preferences problem, because it's where AdwCleaner finds me the malware. I made a second scan with Malwarebytes and it finds me some PUP named 'MindSpark', tried to remove them, but the problem doesn't seem to be fixed as AdwCleaner still finds those URL.
If anyone could help it would be much appreciated. Here are the reports from FRST.
Thanks! :)

Hello,

Please download Zemana AntiMalware and save it to your Desktop.
  • Install the program and once the installation is complete it will start automatically.
  • Without changing any options, press Scan to begin.
  • After the short scan is finished, if threats are detected press Next to remove them.
Note: If restart is required to finish the cleaning process, you should click Reboot. If reboot isn't required, please restart your computer manually.
  • Open Zemana AntiMalware again.
  • Click on
    4zu6vb.jpg
    icon and double click the latest report.
  • Now click File > Save As and choose your Desktop before pressing Save.
  • The only left thing is to attach saved report in your next message.

    RunAsAdmin.jpg
    Run as Administrator to start the tool.
  • Wait patiently until the main console will appear, it may take a minute or two.
  • In the main box please paste in the following script:
    Code:
    createsrpoint;
    autoclean;
    emptyclsid;
    emptyalltemp;
    ipconfig /flushdns >>"%temp%\log.txt";b
  • Make sure that Scan All Users option is checked.
  • Push Run Script and wait patiently. The scan may take a couple of minutes.
  • When the scan completes, a zoek-results logfile should open in notepad.
  • If a reboot is needed, it will be opened after it. You may also find it at your main drive (usually C:\ drive)

Upload it in your next reply.

Ok, I've done what you said. The only thing that puzzles me is that the Zoek scan is now stuck with this screen and I do not know if it's normal. It's taking about one hour to end. I'm worried about something might go wrong.

Was Firefox open while you performed a scan? If not, please reinstall Firefox and run Zoek scan again. This should solve the stuck problem.

Nope, it was not. How long should it take while performing the scan? Just to know and behave consequently.
Thank you for your help! :)

Should I just run Zoek again, after reinstalling Firefox? With the same settings? I don't have to repeat the scanning with Zemana, do I?
Sorry if I keep on asked, but I'm quite worry by the possibility of losing some of my data or making any mistake. :S

It should take couple of minutes. Sometimes it stuck on some computers. You won't lose any data, because system restore point is created each time Zoek is run.

Yes, but I have a problem with Zoek: it doesn't let me close the window. It shows up again and restart the scansion. Should I close in another way? I have restored the Avira Security. What would I do??

Ok, hope it won't stuck right now. I'm trying right now. If the process begin taking too long, would I have to stop it?

Have I to disable even the Internet security on Avira? I just disabled the Real-Time Protection. Could be that?

Ok, here are the reports. I don't want to rush, but I should say it worked. Or at least, so it seems.
Now, I'll check my Google Chrome ongoing and report here if there will be any other troubles.
Anyway, I would ask some others advices: can I download Google Extensions without any worries? Or I risk some Adw infiltration? Can I unistall the Zemana or Zoek because I already have Malwarebytes and Avira, or they're not enough to ensure my protection?
Thank you for your every piece of information and for your help!! :)

Looks like I didn't solve at all.... When I ran once again AdwCleaner, this morning.. This was the result. Again.
Have you got new solutions? I'm quite desperate. :(

Ok, I've done this before and now once again. The only thing that puzzles me is that it would pop up some folders which are said impossibile to be deleted because their path could not be found. Then, what should I do? Could I restore my old profile with my passwords, my bookmarks, but also my extensions and application? This was the reason why I used Google and this is why I would like to use it.
And.. What about my internet security, then? Thank you for your help!
