Hello everyone,

I’m an independent cybersecurity analyst with a strong interest in malware analysis, endpoint security, and penetration testing. I regularly test security products and analyze modern threats such as infostealers, malicious browser extensions, and emerging attack techniques.

Recently, I have been focusing on evaluating security solutions within the Gen Digital ecosystem, including Norton, and studying how different security layers respond to real-world attack simulations and adversarial techniques.

I joined MalwareTips to exchange technical insights with the community, contribute to discussions on threat detection and security products, and learn from other researchers and enthusiasts in the field.

Looking forward to productive discussions and knowledge sharing.

I have now reported multiple times about ten times that YouTube appears to be blocking VPN services from that company.
I made it clear in another thread that it's extremely common for YouTube to require VPN users to login. Commercial VPNs use exit IPs that are regularly flagged for bot, scraping, and malicious behavior.

YouTube is cracking down even harder on VPNs and adblockers these days.

You can't expect Gen to fix or change what's out of their hands. There are only so many IPs available to begin with.

You're going to need to log in or cut the VPN on YouTube.
