Hi everyone! I hope everyone is well! I'm a new member trying to understand what the heck infected my other computer. In the past, I've considered myself pretty successful in resolving malware and viruses that has infected my computer and keeping it protected, however, so much has evolved. I recently became careless and didn't have my antivirus/malware software running and installed several programs. Along the way, I knew I had been infected. I can't remember what might have done it... 
I'm hoping to clean my problem computer via these forums and website without having to reinstall my system.
