Looks interesting. Wouldn't really need to use it because I use Google Talk anyway

I uninstalled GTalk for this, also looks like this succeeds the old GTalk software.

One click in Chrome and Chat launches, runs after your close the Chrome browser, but can be closed also from the system tray. Not bad, but I don't like leaving Chrome running.

That is why it's best to stick to the software let's you close the browser and have Google Talk open at the same time.

Google have manage to destroy another product, but as long as Google Talk (desktop) remains, I'll be happy.

'Chat for Google' has been replaced by 'Hangouts', also affects Android.
