I don't need the update installed the moment I hit update. Uninstalling/reinstalling avoids errors and conflicts and doesn't take long. It's no big deal for me.

As mentioned before, it is true that it does not take a lot of time. But personally, this is the first software I use on a daily basis, and the only one that updates like that. And it seems I was not the only one, so that is why I wanted to find out. :)

For me this piece of c..p messed up completely my D partition. On my second laptop i have a 1TB Kingston SSD with 2 partitions,C for Windows and D with my other files. I've made a backup image with Hasleo (a system C backup),and at a certain point i decided to try it and restore the image. After reboot the D partition was gone (windows didn't recognize anymore the partition) and of course all my files were gone. I tried different things to make windows to recognize the D partition that i found on Google, nothing worked. I recovered all my files with a recovery software....i have to mention that i am using Macrium free and Aomei Backupper free for years that NEVER EVER gave this disastrous problem. I will not touch anymore this s..t and stick with my old 2 friends,Macrium and Aomei free.

I had issues with Aomie Pro creating multiple small partitions on C:\ drive & failures on restore which is why I ended up with Macrium, I found out about Hasleo on here & was skeptical (very) to start with & still have Macrium images of my last Windows 11 install - I've used Hasleo for some months now & made many restorations without any problems - I have two SSD drives with six partitions - I think it goes without saying always have multiple backups of all data as things can go wrong whatever solution we use.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Wow, hearing that literally sends a chill down my spine. I had used Hasleo Backup in 2023 if memory serves me right, it was version 3.1, I made a backup of only 1 partition C, because this laptop only had 1 partition at the time I used the HDD. One day I decided to restore the backup image and Hasleo Backup restored it without any problems. But listening to what you said about the D partition is scary, it's already happened to me that I had to restore a deleted partition, but it was my mistake, I messed up where I shouldn't have. But now I do as @Sorrento said, I always backup images with different software, but I've never had to use it because Macrium has been more reliable to date, it's software that has solidified in the market. ;)

I'm telling you guys,I am not the type of person to bash a software for no reason. I trusted Hasleo, didn't mess in any way with its settings, a plain and simple C Windows partition backup...still don't know what happened and why it messed up completely my D partition.....Thank you for your thoughts!
PS. Sorrento is right, ALWAYS have backups with different programs.(y)

What Hasleo mode did you use to perform the backup and restore? Hasleo partition restore works differently, if memory serves me well.
