vietnam product, data colllection not secure.
Wrong MT thread.

Don't you have anything else to do other than trolling? Read this slowly, so perhaps you will be able to comprehend it. The download link on the webpage, links to the download on the publisher's website.
Chinese CCP product.

Trolling obligatory.

The U.S. registration of Hasleo as a domicile company is a farse due to legitimate anti-Chinese CCP animosity and backlash.

I'm aware there can be concerns with Chinese software. However. if you read some of his posts, they are usually quite ridiculous. He has stated that he a security expert, when his posts clearly show that he really isn't.
I just don't care.

All Chinese CCP companies are under the thumb of the CCP just like Kaspersky is under the thumb of the Russian government. Each of them can be compelled at a moment's notice to comply and act maliciously on behalf of said governments. This is especially true of Chinese mainland based companies that have no choice but to register with the CCP government plus must agree and comply with multiple CCP government policies that require said companies to comply and be forced into intelligence gathering from the devices that their products are installed on. It's Chinese CCP government law. Resistance by anyone within those companies is futile. Go to jail or get a bullet at the base of the neck.

No offense meant against the general Chinese populace, except the Chinese CCP bootlickers.

This has to change. On this forum, when people make claims, they should back them up with sources.

in my unique response here : I’m not even talking about China here — I’m talking about Vietnam, regarding the software mentioned above:

“Software piracy tops the list of U.S. concerns. According to the Business Software Alliance (BSA), Vietnam’s software piracy rate stands at 90%. Vietnam is tied with Zimbabwe as the country with the world’s highest rate of software piracy. Book piracy also remains rampant. The International Intellectual Property Alliance (IIPA) estimates that the book publishing industry lost $16 million in trade due to piracy. Piracy in pharmaceutical products, entertainment software, and cable and satellite signals also continues to be a pressing issue.”

Vietnam don't care about internet regulation (in terms of data collection) :
why ?

Regarding internet/data regulation: Vietnam doesn’t even have a specialized Intellectual Property Court. The National Assembly only approved a reform in June 2024 to establish one, but it does not yet exist in practice. Until now, IP cases have been handled by general courts, with very few criminal prosecutions and mostly administrative sanctions.

Now, let’s see who still wants to argue without sources.

Don't waste your time with trolls. Use the ignore feature, which is free on MT, and move on. No, it's not worth it @roger_m to argue with people like that. (y)

You may be right but it seems to me your initial post came across as an unhinged unreasonable post which gave no info & not done in a respectable even normal way, it gave little information & would likely just annoy a member.

The last sentence of this quoted post is 'now, lets see who wants to argue' - its not I feel about arguing which usually in life & certainly on here achieves zero or less than that into negative -Structured reasoning is far better that jumping into a thread done originally by member Brownie2019 who I feel gives some very useful links & giveaways, please show some decent respect for others - Life is not about being right its about living with others, if a person doesn't do that well they end up being alienated & then blame the rest of the world & its individuals that need to change? I suspect this may not go down well & its the last & only time I'm going to comment.

Its not what we do or say its often how we do things, that's if we wish do gain respect which for me is far more important than being liked or proven right? Just my 50 pence worth...
