Hello,
I'm Pam, a disabled nurse with 3 very rare diseases currently battling for my life from complications from one of my rares.
I live in North America.
I have a HP ENVY 17 Notebook PC, Windows 8.1 64-bit, Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4710HQ CPU @ 2.50GHz, 16GB, Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600, 2291 77.35, F.34, HGST HTS541010A9E680 (If you need any more info just tell me)
I have taught myself a lot about computers. And have fixed things that HP could not help me with. I do not trust their SmartFriends, warranties or Escalation Team even though I am a diehard HP customer. I have experienced first hand the type of assistance they give. This is a second/upgraded replacement for a laptop I bought in January 2014. (They could not repair the 1st one) I also had to have my printer replaced. It came with a wrong serial number and started having issues due to the warranty running out (in 2012) about a month later. I have since repaired this one myself as it has been plagued with the passed on issues of the 1st via my Microsoft sign on containing the backup data. This was not addressed by the Escalation Team or (NOT so) SmartFriends as an issue. I have learned a great lesson. I was lied to and abused for 4 months as this was taking place. All I have asked for is an apology on company letterhead. I have not received it yet, nor will I. I have bought 2 laptops and a printer since then. Is that not a diehard?
I am too ill to handle things right now and just had to clean up from where I allowed someone to come onto my computer to work on it when I was very ill and a lot of issues were going on. They were not who they said they were and also committed fraud in the process.
I am in need of help in getting my laptop in good working order as I don't know where to go from here. Things are a mess. I do not want this to happen again. I am not stupid, just sick. I don't usually make these kinds of errors.
Please, I am not able to reply to a lot of welcomes and comments.
I would like replies from trusted members who can help me. I hope that is OK here?
Thank you.
