I guess a first post on a new forum has always seemed tricky for me. I give all to family and friends but my motto is "Paranoia is Love and Total Paranoia is Total Awareness.
I don't believe I am offended easily except by political correctness so joke away at me if needed or wanted.
My Dad was an amerind (Tribe on request for my bros) who never left his Oklahoma reservation until WWII called him and my Mom is white.I guess that makes me a half breed but I was always passed for white. I retired from a job where I was a fluid power specialist for Texas for about 20 years. As anyone who reads this will see, I am careless about punctuation sometimes so if you can't understand what I type in please ask for clarification. My Keyboard is a mid range Steelseries but tries to double space on me whenever it can.
I home built my PC a few years back. It is a big Cooler Master tower with a six core AMD processor and 32 megs of ram on a Gigabyte 990FXA-UD5 main board. I run windows 8.1 on it because MS gave me a deal to upgrade? from Win 7 for $39 or so. My wife's PC is a HP all in one running Win 7 and I have an Acer laptop that runs Linux Mint 14. Speaking of the wife, we were married when she was 18 and I was 17 and she is with me today. I am happy to be here. Give my cord a yank sometime.
