Help with COM SURROGATE Virus

Hello,
Recently I've found my laptop beset by various amounts of ad and spy ware which after deleting I found linked to something called COM SURROGATE in my task manager and a DLLHOST.exe file in my windows 32 folder both of which I've been unable to remove.
