PC seems to be running great! No more threat detection notifications from antivirus. The COM Surrogate process still does start if I open Task Manager immediately after reboot, but then the process disappears immediately and does not return. Is this a normal process for Windows that the Poweliks virus simply exploits? Cooling fan speed is normal, and CPU usage is back to normal as well. I can no longer detect any problems. Seems great! Do I use "Safely Remove Program" from Control Panel to remove the Malwarebytes and FRST tools, or can I simply delete them from their directory? Thank you sincerely. :) -Archer
