Thanks Val, I'll give this some time and see if I improve!

The pleasure is all mine. I just want to warn that it takes time and nerves, so don't expect any immidiate changes. you will how learn to look away from the keyboard with time

Have fun.

I've learned to type fast when my father bought me a CD to teach me how to type. Before getting that CD, I was only typing with only 1 finger, but now I use 8. :D
Thanks for sharing this with us.

I admit I'm a finger typer, But a very fast one. I often look at the keyboard while I'm typing and I find doing so helps with reducing grammar mistakes or typos.

If you see a typo from me, Chances are I was looking away from the keyboard. :P

Excellent find Valentin N, when I get some time maybe I will take the online lessons.
Been using a pc since 1995 and still type with one finger.
But it gets me by.

Good day.:D
I type with two if I am lucky :)

general: make sure to exercise everyday a bit 20min or so :)

When I was in school, typing classes were mandatory. ;)

Yes, typing. On an actual manual typewriter (adding a Wiki link, because I suspect many of you have never even seen one) Home computers were extremely rare at the time. And looking away from the keyboard was expected. If you looked at your fingers, you would get marked down.

When I got to high school, they actually had electric typewriters, which were a bit like the Ferrari's of the typewriters. Nice because you didn't have to hit the keys as hard. Manual typewriters ensured that you had strong pinkie fingers!

So I can type quite well, and I'm glad for the classes. :)

I like the sounds they made after certain keys where pressed :D

HA, For your information I have 2 old Typewriters sitting out in the storage shed. They belonged to my grandfather and long before I got my first PC I used to type on them for fun.

Only thing is they are bone dry out of ink now, Was fun while it lasted. Thanks. :)
