Advice Request How can I block an application but still show a pop-up when it wants access?

The question is mainly for firewall but I suppose that if it's possible, the procedure is similar for other modules.
If I have an executable that wants to connect to the internet, currently I keep blocking it in order to see a pattern of connecting times.

If i remember this right, Zonealarm PRO firewall does have this feature. It shows a pop-up when blocked application is trying to connect to internet. I don't know if the free version of Zonealarm firewall does have this feature. I was using ZA Pro Firewall couple of years ago.

Thanks. It crossed my mind that if there was a way to script behavior for Comodo, there would be a way to pop up based on events.
