To change the behavior of opening new links in Chrome from new windows to new tabs, try the following steps: 1. Open Chrome and go to Settings (click on the three dots in the upper right corner, and then click on "Settings"). 2. Scroll down to the bottom and click on "Advanced." 3. Under "System," toggle off "Continue running background apps when Google Chrome is closed." 4. Now open a new window by clicking on the square to the right of the three dots in the upper right corner. 5. Right-click on the tab you want to open in a new window and select "New tab." 6. Close the original window. After following these steps, all new links should open in new tabs instead of new windows.
