Notebookcheck reviews the new Lenovo ThinkPad T14s with the AMD Ryzen Pro 4000 CPU. Is the new T14s a better alternative for the business flagship ThinkPad X1 Carbon?

From the verdict:

The biggest difference is the performance. Business laptops are still using Intel's Comet-Lake-U chips due to the support for vPro, so neither the CPU, nor the integrated GPUs stand a chance against AMDs new mobile CPUs. You get almost twice the CPU performance and even some gaming is possible on the ThinkPad.

AMD runs well, less pricey then Intel, but... Intel is impressive with the sheer power, which at times AMD lacks overall. (Maybe the tides changing these days)

AMD as said above better security, and probably better specs for the $$ cost. So AMD for the vote. AMD I did vote for here 6 years ago.

I like both okay, so it's not an issue either way, I use both AMD and Intel on different machines.
