I can say it is a matured product..not too paranoid
Responsive BB..Drweb greatly improved day to day in signatures department
Preventive protection cannot be rated as Excellent..but does the job
One thing about him..Advanced disinfection technologies are used by Dr web. Probably the best out there
They even disinfect Trojan.Encoder samples..where most of the Av vendors struggle even to get a signature for it.
Cons:
Too paranoid web blocking..probably top in that category
Fp's -- It detected IKARUS SETUP as Infected archive. Surprising !!

Go ahead and use it..It wont dissapoint you. But make sure you try before purchasing it.

I am also interested and I look forward to the next report. I was considering purchasing a few years ago. I was attracted to the name 'katana' rather than performance. That was also the name of the motorcycle I owned at the time.

It's a good product but nowhere worth near its current price 26.00 €
it should cost ~$10
Dr.web doesn't have the best BB

If you plan to use Dr.Web Katana with Avast, it's useless. You need to use it with paranoid settings, which suck because Dr.Web doesn't maintain a database with harmless files.
