Trust me VoodooShield should win...Test SAP vs Voodoo and we'll see
I mean i just unchecked ClamWin in the settings. What do you mean by "No"?
VoodooShield uses VirusTotal mostly then has Voodoo AI & a blacklist. If you have no internet access I'm not sure what happens since I've never not had an internet connection whilst trying to execute a file.MalwareBlockerYT,
What popup you get if VoodooShield AI Cloud is down?
Should...Trust me VoodooShield should win...
if you dont use ClamWin then why not install without local AV version?I mean i just unchecked ClamWin in the settings.
Because i am not sure how i would go about that.if you dont use ClamWin then why not install without local AV version?
When internet connection is not there or not connected, VS popup mention "connect to internet for cloud analysis" with file name & options allow/block.VoodooShield uses VirusTotal mostly then has Voodoo AI & a blacklist. I think there is 2 types SAP installer, with/without local AV.Because i am not sure how i would go about that.
Fine will win. If I had a choice of the two & was executing live real ransomware threats I would choose VoodooShield because I know that SecureAPlus is less secure...Should...

Even if there's no internet connection you can still block the files you execute.
the weakness of SAP is that it allows some scripts, and there is also less control over child processes, for instance, program updaters. Thus it gives you more freedom and less headaches, at the expense of a certain amount of security.I turn off internet connection in VM run rensomware and SecureAPlus block rensomware : untrusted file , not signed

SAP can be hardened up in the way it handles scripts, but you need a proper understanding of command lines to do it.Of course it will!
But there is one point: I see VS as a tool for more advanced users since SAP can be used by an average due to it's weaknesses (mentioned already by @shmu26 in the post above).
But it is still not a thing which average user would doSAP can be hardened up in the way it handles scripts, but you need a proper understanding of command lines to do it.
You can also take away parent/child privileges from apps on an individual basis. This only takes a little patience.
definitely true. But it is still not a thing which average user would do

If I am correct, VAi is cloud too i.e requires internet to analyze sample.Well as far I know if Voodoshield cloud is not available, then it will determine based on AI which comprises of different behavior analysis.
I work in the Malware Hub but haven't got the badge yet because I've only been doing it for a week or two...
From my testing SecureAPlus is pretty good but I much prefer VoodooShield. SecureAPlus has a scan which is a Full Scan - you cannot change the scan type & it takes hour & hours of time to scan the PC. For whitelisting I prefer VoodooShield & in terms of Prevention VoodooShield gets pretty much 99%/100% of threats when I tested it last.
