Advice Request How to add custom ad blocking lists to Opera's built in adblocker?

I'm trying to add some custom lists from filterlists.com on Opera 55, by adding the url in the settings page, but no list is recognized by the browser. It gives me a 'parse error' message everytime I try to do it.
Anyone figuring a way to fix this issue? It's really lame since I could try to ditch uBO if Opera would let me use some of my favorite AdGuard lists (mainly the Annoyances one). I rarely use the advance filtering options of uBO so it would be an interesting alternative for me.
Importing from a file is not an option, because for security reasons the lists should be updated on a daily basis automatically.
Any help would be highly appreciated.

Only easylist ones are working, maybe its illuminati that you have to watch site specific ads

Same with the default speed dial offering google search, whenver you choose duckduckgo as example

Thats why im using google as search engine, and just ublock origin ( nano defender integration filters)

Doesnt make huge difference but enjoyable chrome alternative

First, install one of the tools mentioned below under "Software Support." Then, you can subscribe to a set of these lists inside of that software.

Yeah, I know it isn't officially supported. Still, it would make complete sense it still worked, and I'm sure someone will find a way to make it.

Even it's not really a " Bug " you might still get a reply as I tested there several times with issues/problems I found. They tend to like ideas and yours a good one IMO.

Quick update: Opera is now investigating the issue, they asked me for some screenshots. Waiting for their answer.

Wish i could add the adguard base filters

Enabling fanboys annoyances + built in filters would be enough with adguard ones

Then i only would need to add netcraft to have efficient opera

The opera dev team closed the thread by simply saying: Opera adblocker only supports.txt lists starting with [AdBlock Plus 2.0].
Well, we all knew that, and that's why only EasyList lists work.
Very disappointed with the lack of a proper solution. I'll hope they'll change their minds as I just emailed them again.

I understand why you are disappointed and maybe my words won't help much but you did get a reply and if your lucky it might ended up on some of the guys/girls To-Do list. :emoji_fingers_crossed: They do listen sometimes as I was able to make them understand the issue when they ripped away the scrollbar in speed dial.

I request Adguard list support for the native adblocker in Opera forums. If you could help me by posting there how important this feature would be to the browser and giving some support, the chances of adoption of the feature would be much higher.
