Hello all, Clean installation is often referred to windows system where you completely wipe and format the disk drive and reinstall windows using external drives such as USB with the installation media to restart the system completely fresh and clean. This is known to be different from resetting the system using the recovery method with existing image on the disk. I was wondering how you would go about performing clean installation for iPhones? I did some research and sources state that you can perform a clean install of iPhone using ipsw file + itunes + DFU mode, which is different from the standard Factory Reset option. Is anyone here familiar with this? Does this guarantee a fully clean phone?
