So here's my situation, guys. I'm a beginner 3D rendering artist, and it costs a ton of money for assets like hair, clothes, models, etc. (more than 3k), money that I don't have as a starter. So my question is, can I expect 100% safety from malware if I have a separate laptop, Kaspersky protection, and a solid backup plan? Here's what I have in mind. I would use my main PC that has Kaspersky Premium on it for downloading 3D assets and rendering them. Also, I might install a few games on this PC as well. and I'm aware that as good as Kaspersky is, it wouldn't be able to protect my PC for long with this user behavior, so I will consider this PC to be compromised even though it's working fine. And I will use my separate laptop with Bitdefender Internet Security for all my financial-related operations and storing important info. I won't let my laptop touch anything even remotely close to apps, games, or media, but the only issue is I'd have to transfer a considerable number of PNG images between my two computers via USB drive on a monthly basis, and unfortunately there's no workaround for that. So tell me what you think, and as for me, the user, I have common sense, like only using relatively safe sites to download stuff and never turning off antivirus for any reason, but I do lack coding knowledge to inspect stuff by myself. Thank you.
