[QUOTE="HarborFront, post: 1109353, member: 55987"] For the PNG files. Have 2 PC (or laptop) 1st one disconnect from the net. Install an AV say Bitdefender Internet Security. The 2nd one also disconnect from the net and install another AV say Kaspersky Internet Security Pre-install ESET USB DriveSecurity onto your USB device(s) and copy files to/from there. Transfer files to the 2nd PC and scan it. After that move the files to the 1st PC, scan it and work from there. Upon completion of work move the files back to the 2nd PC, scan again before transferring the files to the USB device. Your png files should be safe having scanned by 3 AVs and the 2 PCs are not connected to the net. If possible carry out manual updating of PC OS and software ie. download the updates and install manually. A tedious job Have a separate PC/laptop installed with an AV for your other daily activies like surfing the net, internet purchases, gaming etc. For internet purchases and financial transactions try to use virtual keyboard/desktop from the AV.
