Managed, thanks.
BTW not sure I understood about web (surfing) protection. EAM has got his own protection module, what about CIS 6 ?
Is there a global guide on " how to set CIS 6 for max protection " -firewall,BB,HIPS,..- ? Or default settings are good enough ?

Comodo doesn't believe in Web Filters (or web protections), disclaiming it is a gadget feature (that is quite true), they have a valid point for that since there is only 2 ways of access for a malware to your system: Memory and Hard Disk.
All serious AVs will scan those 2 elements in real-time, so you are protected.
Web filters just anticipate a potential infection by blocking you the access to infected/malicious mlaware distribution websites.

you have Chiron's Guide: http://www.techsupportalert.com/content/how-install-comodo-firewall.htm

Sorry for bumping this old thread. Anyways, is it recommended to use CIS + EAM + WSA? Thanks in advance :)

I just tried CIS + EAM + WSA and I don't have any incompatibility issues. It just worked well for me. :)

I have CF only, so should I add as excluded "cmdagent.exe", "cfp.exe", "cfpupdat.exe", "cfpconfg.exe", "cavscan.exe"?

ok, I apologise for bumping this thread (as it is getting on a bit), but after my recent fiasco with EAM screwing with CIS auto sandbox rules, I was wondering whether I could have an up to date set up consisting of Win7, CFW and EAM? I was obviously doing something wrong, and was hoping the more knowledgeable members could put me right!! Please...

@porkpiehat

@Umbra's guide for CIS\CFW - EAM remains the guide to follow for this combo. If that isn't working, then I really do not know if anyone can help.

I know of one other person that tried the CFW - EAM combo on W7. For whatever reason(s), it just simply would not work on that specific system despite that user's extreme efforts. He tried many clean installs, different install sequences, various file\folder exclusions in both CFW and EAM, different settings and configurations in CFW, etc, etc, etc.

You might want to try installing EAM first, followed by CFW and set HIPS to Training mode and reboot... then set-up exclusions per @Umbra's guide in both CFW and EAM. Afterwards, reboot, then re-enable or disable CFW depending upon if you wish to use HIPS or not (remember, you will get double alerts when using both EAM's behavior blocker and CFW HIPS).

You can try Comodo and Emsisoft support, but they will just direct you to the other vendor and\or state "Other users can get the combo to work just fine..." At least that is what I have observed on the support forums...
