Have a legitimate, safe soft or file that Comodo blocks as Unrecognized and\or as digitally unsigned ?

Are you tired of Comodo always blocking softs from your favorite vendor(s) ?

You create Allow rules for an auto-sandboxed file or change its local rating from Unrecognized to Trusted, but it still does not work quite right ?

Here is a useful tip: submit the file(s) to Comodo for white-listing.

This helps not only you, but also all other Comodo users as well...

Previous Thread

Please submit all applications you would like to see trusted here. Whenever possible provide links to the application/software. This will provide much faster results.

Submit Entire Program For Whitelisting

Please include:
1. The name of the application/software
2. A download link to the application/software (assuming you know that it's not potentially dangerous)

Submit Individual Files For Whitelisting

1. Include the name of the application/software (if possible)
2. Also upload the file to either Comodo Instant Malware Analysis (CIMA), Comodo Valkyrie, or VirusTotal and post a link to the results in your post

Whitelisting NOTE!

The whitelisting department has encountered lately alot of requests for files which have been already whitelisted. There are 4 main ways to check if a file is already in the Comodo Safe List database:

1. Live status: when running the file or after Operating System boots (startup cases); is the file auto-sandboxed ? If yes, then Comodo rates it as Unrecognized.

2. On demand status: Main CIS interface/advanced tasks/open advanced settings/security settings/file rating/file list/select file (tick box next to file)/right-click/Lookup; if Lookup returns Unrecognized.

3. On demand status: Main CIS interface/ scan/ rating scan; if Rating Scan returns Unrecognized for a file.

4. On demand status: Main CIS interface/ advanced tasks/watch activity /autorun analyzer (killswitch menu); Autorun will indicate Unknown for an Unrecognized file.

If a file fails to be seen as safe on 1st and/or 2nd case, then it should be considered as not whitelisted and you can send it to the whitelisting department for analysis. However, if on the live status and filelookup ( 1. & 2.) the file was seen as whitelisted and was not sanboxed (program runs without any interruptions from CIS), then for the 3rd and 4th case if the same file fails to be listed as safe , please create tickets on bug sections and do not submit also a whitelisting request.
Sorry for the inconvinience and thank you for your understanding.

PS - The Comodo thread for white-listing files was created by MT's very own @Malware1 .

It used to take a week or more sometimes.

If you submit direct download link to soft, it is taking about 3 to 5 days.
