Troubleshoot How to upgrade Windows 10 Pro to Enterprise?

Can any member provide details for the upgrading of Windows 10 Pro to Enterprse Edition without any re-installation and keeping your applicatins and file/folders unchanged?
What are the major differences and what advantages gained from such upgrading?

If you're running an up to date build of Windows 10 then no need for a re installation or even a reboot!. Just follow these simple steps:

1. Sign in as an Administrator
2. Go to Settings -> Update & Security -> Activation
3. Click the “Change product key” button
4. Enter a valid Enterprise product key
5. Click on Next
6. When Windows is activated, click on Close.
7. Refresh the Settings page (close it and reopen it) to see Windows 10 Enterprise displayed instead of Windows 10 Pro.

Please note I have not tried this myself, but I can't see why it wouldn't work.

As @askmark says and when you enter the product key for Enterprise edition, I guess the upgrade procedure will install the new features.
