I decided to start a new thread, as Huorong v6 has only been discussed in Alpha stage here.
(From a short test of mine a few months ago, it hasn't gotten better noticeable to v5, you still might get seriously infected, regardless of employing custom rules, however, this isn't the topic. Please refer also to @Shadowra 's test )here.)
v6.0.4.0 (released on 15/11/2024) seems to be a rather major upgrade, which brings back the security analysis software "Velvet Sword", which has been removed not so long in the past because of possible security related bugs. It now sails under the flag of "security analysis tool".
It also gives us following:
Product function optimization
1. Adapt to Windows 11 right-click menu;
2. Optimize the button of the floating window of the U disk;
3. [Interface, tray, pop-up window, U disk floating window] operation hot area expanded;
4. Optimized the situation that some boot memory usage is high;
5. Custom protection
Program bug fix
1. Fixed When the number of window records is too large, the interface pull-down has obvious lag problem;
2. Fixed the problem that win10 x64 could not scan the KB5035845 patch;
3. Fixed the problem that the velvet could not be installed in the environment where the CPU is ultra series and the kernel isolation is not turned on
