I would chose the first one but that depends on you mostly.

Thanks the only problem is when I choose the first one SABnzbd does not work remotely on my iPhone or iPad with the apps SABmini and SABmini for iPad. :(

I am not sure if you know what SABnzbd is.

Not sure why this is.

I would select the first one. Find out which port/s SABnzbd uses and create the appropriate firewall rule and see if that helps.

Thanks guys I reformated my computer basically and chose the first option instead. I know I could of changed it without a reformat. The problem was SABnzbd wouldn't work still.

Plus I needed to start over anyway because I couldn't see the network printer anymore no matter what I did.

I didn't really reformat though I went back to a fresh install of Windows 10 with all the latest important updates image and started over. Much quicker!



Now my computer found the network printer and SABnzbd works!

There needs to be some contexts as to what devices are being used and what you are doing with them.

From just a security point of view private all the way but if you have requirements it may make sense to go with opt. #2
