Icon Flash Windows 10

Hello

I had to reinstall windows 10 and now my three taskbar icons file explorer, edge and firefox are flashing every 5-10 seconds.They also flash when i delete to recycle bin and empty.Can't find a fix, never had this ''bug'' before.I found a video.

@Soundwave I believe it is a problem with Windows Explorer, is your system fully up-to date in Windows Update? As you said:

Yes it's up to date.I have no idea what is causing this.

As @Tornado said it could be an explorer issue!
Are all your drivers installed,chipset/video drivers?
Check your device manger!

PS:It may be an inherent windows 10 bug,but I can't be entirely certain!!

Yes, i always install the latest drivers.I also bet on explorer but how do i fix that.

Never had this issue so I cannot speculate a fix for you!
I found this:

Kindly try the following;

1. Click the Start icon
2 .Type in regedit
3. Select regedit from the top of the result
4. Go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop
5. Edit ForegroundFlashCount
>> Find ForegroundFlashCount
>> Double click ForegroundFlashCount
>> Replace the value for Value Data with 1
>> Edit ForgroundLockTimeout
>> Find ForegroundLockTimeout
>> Double click ForegroundLockTimeout
>> Replace the value for Value Data with 0

6. Reboot your PC.

Flashing icons and task bar

Thanks.I tried it, the flash is still there.I pinned more icons to taskbar to see what happens, they all flash when i delete something.

That happened on all windows 10 systems in my house tho...

I just noticed it myself when deleting something/emptying recycle bin!
Never really noticed it up until the OP mentioned it
It could be that the desktop is refreshing itself after a deletion of a file????

It can be a minor issue for overall Windows 10, considering that on WIndows 7 and 8/8.1 does not occurred (AFAIK) if you deleted some files.

maybe.. Even on VM too, on very clean system. its flashing

Yes i think all W10 machines do this as far as i can tell.
