"One thing you also need to be aware of with Game Mode is that it requires using the Windows Insider preview builds.

If you only have one PC, however, I'd stay away from the Windows Insider builds—they're much better as something you use on a second system, in case things go awry."

Wow, those results are dismal.
How are they going to justify the time and expense spent
developing this, with those garbage results ?

Don't forget this is an Insider Preview build, things like this are always rocky for an unstable operating system with new features and bugs.
I agree brother, but at some point the Dev's thought it was far enough along
to release to the insiders, with those results they need to restart from scratch.

That's what I am getting at, Game Mode may be from scratch. :p

Yeah, I'm not seeing it; why did this leave Microsoft? Turning "Game Mode" on makes games run worse.

I've been wondering if "Insider" builds are an internal testing replacement.

I've also been getting the impression that Microsoft's "...as a service" means start a bunch of projects with little regard for finishing them. Send them to Covey class?
