Internet is not working

Steps taken to resolve, but have been unsuccessful

tried changing the lan settings but did not work

I have attached the output file from Zoek.exe. Kindly Help me

Adwcleaner is very sensetive and can cause problems:

1. Do you have a backup?
2. Do you have a rollback program?

Hello Rajeshv2012. I agree with @Tornado's suggestions, & to rollback to a point before you had experienced this problem.
If you have neither a back up image nor Rollback RX, Windows 7 allows going to a "Restore Point" (usually a time when the most recent Windows updates installed). You may have to reinstall updates afterwards.
To restore to an earlier time:

1. Open Control Panel.
2. <click> Action Center.
3. >> (bottom right) Choose "Recovery" restore computer to an earlier time.
4. UAC may ask for password confirmation.

*Most times, even when system restore has not been fully successful on our Windows 7, we've experienced a solution in functionality.

I dont have both rollback and backup programs. I didnt know that adwcleaner could give me serious problem with my network connection. I tried to recover from Action Center however I had no luck.

Did you use / remove anything with AdwCleaner? Or install only?

Post a minitoolbox log from the machine, you can download it and transfer it to the sick machine. Via phone or another computer with a cd dvd or usb device.


I think it may have trashed your winsock, but we will see.

Please download MINITOOLBOX and run it.



Checkmark following boxes:


Flush DNS
Reset FF proxy Settings
Reset Ie Proxy Settings
Report IE Proxy Settings
Report FF Proxy Settings
List content of Hosts
List IP configuration
List Winsock Entries
List last 10 Event Viewer log
List Installed Programs
List Users, Partitions and Memory size
List Devices (problems only)



Click Go and post the result.

I downloaded the Exe File and Run the file and It shown some fome to clear which I pressed Clear.

Attathed the Minitoolbox log and attached.

I also attached the adwclwanerlogfile which deleted some settings. I hope it will be helpful for your analysis

• This will restore the default host file.
• Next Click on Creer Un Rapport.
• This will open a logfile, post that in your next reply.
• First create a registry backup.

Please download the following two files and transfer them to the machine.

Save them to the desktop the right click and select merge.

One at a time.

Then reboot the machine.

After the reboot then run these two commands from an elevated command prompt.

Make sure and hit enter after each.

netsh int ip reset

netsh winsock reset catalog

Now please reboot your machine.

So at this point if you do not have a connection.

Please run sfc /scannow from the elevated command.

keep it but dont run it yet
Start> run type: devmgmt.msc
look for the wireless driver right click and chose uninstall you'll be asked if to completely delete it chose yes.
reboot windows should install the driver if not install it from the link.

No it will not, it also does not rebuild the winsock, part of it is missing.

Reinstalling a driver will clear the dns setitings, the setting is using a static ip, your wireless passowords... It does not touch the winsock. That is a whole different animal.

Have you check in Control Panel ----> then Device Manager to see if there is a network adapter has disable thus no network detected? Are you sure that as you run the program, sudden no internet connection?

@jamescv7 the minitoolbox log will answer that question, part of the winsock is gone...

@done replacing the driver has nothing to do with the winsock.

I installed itunes then deleted bonjour then did a clean install if wireless driver, just to show you....

Yes I checked the network adapter is is enabled. Yes After running the adwcleaner, It asked for reboot and after that Internet did not connect.
Is there any setting that I need to turn on "network and sharing center" ? I tried to diagnose and it said "Local Area Connection" doesnt have a valid IP configuration.
