⚠️ Maintenance Notice

RxCloud CyberLab is temporarily unavailable due to an unexpected hardware issue affecting one of our infrastructure nodes.

The platform has been placed into maintenance mode while the hardware is being diagnosed and repaired.

No user data has been lost. We will restore service as soon as the storage redundancy has been re-established.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

⚠️ Temporary Infrastructure Notice

Hello everyone,

We are currently experiencing an unexpected hardware issue affecting one of our infrastructure nodes (Node2) hosted at OVHcloud.

To ensure service stability, Node2 has been temporarily removed from production while the issue is being investigated.

Current service status

🟢 Windows Labs
  • PentestLab Windows and ReverseLab Windows remain available.
  • These VMs are currently being served exclusively by the Master node.
  • As a result, the service is operating in degraded mode and you may experience reduced performance or longer queue times until Node2 is back online.
🟠 Linux Labs
  • PentestLab Linux and ReverseLab Linux are temporarily unavailable while the affected node is under maintenance.
🟢 Android Labs
  • Android Lab VMs are NOT affected and continue to operate normally.

What happened?

One of the NVMe SSDs on Node2 experienced a hardware issue, causing the storage mirror to become degraded.

A support ticket has been opened with OVHcloud, and the infrastructure is currently awaiting hardware diagnosis and, if necessary, SSD replacement.

We have already secured the platform by:
  • Placing the affected node into maintenance.
  • Preserving user data.
  • Restoring Windows Lab availability through the Master node in degraded mode.
We apologize for the inconvenience and will restore full service as soon as the hardware issue has been resolved.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. ❤️

RxCloud CyberLab – Anniversary Update Progress

Development of the RxCloud CyberLab Anniversary Update is progressing very well, and we are currently on track for the planned release on September 10th, 2026.

As we are now fully focused on preparing, testing, and polishing the next generation of RxCloud CyberLab, the current Dashboard (0.0.6.7 Stable) has officially entered its legacy / end-of-life phase.

From now until September 10th, the current Dashboard will remain available and fully operational, but no further feature updates or visual changes are planned for it.

Maintenance required for security, infrastructure, or service stability may still be performed when necessary, but all active Dashboard development has now moved to the Anniversary Update.

On September 10th, the current Dashboard will be retired and replaced by the new RxCloud experience.

The Anniversary Update represents much more than a visual refresh. We have been rethinking major parts of the experience, workflow, and capabilities of the platform while keeping the original philosophy of RxCloud CyberLab.

We still have work ahead of us, but development is progressing extremely well.

Enjoy the current Dashboard while it lasts. It's officially becoming part of RxCloud history. 💙

See you on September 10th.

🎉 RxCloud CyberLab has reached 400 registered users!

Today, RxCloud CyberLab officially reached a new milestone: 400 registered users.

Honestly, when I started building RxCloud CyberLab, I never imagined the project would reach this point.

What originally started as a personal cybersecurity project has gradually grown into a platform used by hundreds of researchers, students, enthusiasts and security professionals.

Seeing the infrastructure being actively used, sessions running every day, and even users waiting for available Lab VMs is something I definitely didn't expect when I started this project.

And the growth over the last few months has been incredible — RxCloud had around 200 registered users only two months ago.

RxCloud remains an independent project developed and maintained by a single developer, so seeing this level of interest means a lot to me.

A huge thank you to everyone who has tested the platform, reported issues, shared feedback, followed the project here on MalwareTips, or simply used RxCloud CyberLab.

And the timing couldn't be better:

400 users have been reached before the Anniversary Update. 👀

This milestone is only the beginning.

Thank you for being part of RxCloud CyberLab. 💙

⚠️ Major Incident – User Account Data Integrity

We are currently investigating a major incident affecting user account data integrity on RxCloud CyberLab.

An unexpected inconsistency was detected within the user account storage system. As a precautionary measure, the platform has been placed into maintenance mode while we investigate the root cause and verify the integrity of all user data.

Access to RxCloud CyberLab is temporarily unavailable during the investigation.

At this time, we have not confirmed any unauthorized access or data breach. Our investigation is ongoing, and additional information will be provided as soon as it becomes available.

Status: Investigating
Impact: Platform unavailable
Priority: Critical

We apologize for the disruption and appreciate your patience.

⚠️ Update – Root Cause Identified

The root cause of the incident has been identified as an internal data consistency issue caused by a rare race condition within a legacy component of the platform.

Our investigation found no evidence of unauthorized administrative access or exposure of sensitive user data.

The affected account data has been identified, and corrective measures are currently being implemented. We are also strengthening the account storage and synchronization mechanisms to prevent this issue from occurring again.

RxCloud CyberLab will remain in maintenance mode while these fixes are deployed and validated.

Status: Identified – Fix in progress
Impact: Platform temporarily unavailable
Data exposure: No evidence of sensitive data exposure

We will provide another update once validation is complete and services are ready to be restored.

RxCloud CyberLab – Maintenance Update

The maintenance is progressing well.

The root cause of today’s account data integrity incident has been identified, and the main corrective measures are now in place. We are currently completing additional compatibility fixes across the backend, RxLab Reports, and RxCloud Atlas to ensure the new identity integrity mechanisms work correctly across the entire platform.

Most core services have already been successfully tested, including authentication, account registration, password recovery, VM allocation, telemetry, and RxBadges synchronization.

The CyberLab Dashboard and Lab VMs will remain temporarily unavailable while we complete the final integration tests and validation.

No data breach or external security compromise occurred. This incident was caused by an internal edge case in the legacy account storage logic.

We are taking this opportunity to significantly strengthen account data integrity and prevent this type of issue from occurring again.

Thank you for your patience! 💙

🟢 RxCloud CyberLab is back online!

After an extended maintenance period today, RxCloud CyberLab is now fully operational again.

We identified and resolved an internal edge case affecting legacy account data integrity and identity handling. No data breach or external security compromise occurred.

Rather than applying a temporary workaround, we used the incident as an opportunity to significantly strengthen the platform’s account storage and identity architecture. Additional protections were implemented across authentication, account isolation, Lab allocation, telemetry, reports, recordings, RxCloud Atlas, and other internal components.

We also completed extensive end-to-end testing of the entire CyberLab workflow before reopening the platform.

Everything is now operational and Labs are available again. 🟢

Thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding during the maintenance. 💙
