Iobit isn't reliableThanks for sharing the license code and download link for IObit Malware Fighter 12 Pro. This will be very helpful to users looking for reliable security software.
There are much worse antiviruses. It provides reasonable protection.I think it is better to use a PC full of viruses than to use this software.
Doesn't come close to windows defenderThere are much worse antiviruses. It provides reasonable protection.
As Vitali said, antivirus who are worse than win defender/security shouldn't exist. There are much worse antiviruses. It provides reasonable protection.
Yes I definitely agree with that. However, there are many lesser known antiviruses that perform much worse.Doesn't come close to windows defender
There is no reason to install it
Probably not. But there are many antiviruses that are worse than IMF.As Vitali said, antivirus who are worse than win defender/security shouldn't exist.
Well for majority of machines yesAs Vitali said, antivirus who are worse than win defender/security shouldn't exist.
But at least it works for minor things, right (PUP, etc)? The Pro version uses the Bitdefender SDK. But no Cloud or anything else, like all brands using Bitdefender.
But Iobit Malware Fighter's behavioral blocking is very bad indeed...
To be seen if I look into it at the end of the comparison videos.
But at least it works for minor things, right (PUP, etc)?
Oh, ok, thanks for the information.Clearly not.
Bitdefender alone is bad on PUPs, Iobit is even worse...
IMF does have PUP detection as part of its own signatures. While you certainly can use the free version, which only uses its own signatures, alongside another antivirus, there's really not much point. Aside from having terrible malware detection, it's not great at detecting PUPs either. For detecting PUPs, you'd be much better off using Malwarebytes. There's very little that IMF will detect that Malwarebytes won't.But at least it works for minor things, right (PUP, etc)?
