Serious Discussion Is BD really smart?

This is why I avoid BD like the plague, installed free AV once then it deleted Windows firewall on uninstall. Never again. Software should not do such rubbish.

Also your in Egypt 🇪🇬 I see? It's not the best country for internet freedom. Lots of issues. Nothing against the people though they are cool.
Do you really mean it "uninstalled" WF or disabled it?

My experience with BD is not the best tbh, but it's doing its job and as long as support is good, I'll be fine. Moreover it is very cheap.

Yes I am in Egypt and I can't be happier. I love the country and the people. I also started a journey of learning the Oud. That supercharged my life spiritually.

As for online freedom, I agree, but some agree that those precautions and restrictions or even censorship is justified for national security purposes. I am not Egyptian and I am not familiar with laws here, so I cannot comment.

When I was in Gaza, the internet was provided by Israel (Basic ISP) and though there were no obvious restrictions or censorship, I do believe that all of our bandwidth was closely monitored.

Tbh, I gave up and I cannot keep up with all the inconveniences censorship and online life come with, so I try to relax and take it easy.

And in light of reading this, and the posts starting about here, is BD really smart in the sense of BD's Mobile Security App Anomaly Detection, is it their version of BB, ATD for Android? When it was first introduced I rolled my eyes and thought another sales gimmick, or am I wrong? And how much is really needed on Android that the normal protection, scanning engines would pick up on?
