Is it OK to finally use Avast again?

From what I see on other forums there's still quite a few false positives when it comes to custom made tools (like JRT, AdwCleaner, etc.) and it also installs the SafePrice extension that we consider adware/PUP.

The only major problem I had with past versions of avast! was the bloat/PUP. Now if they threw all this away, it should be a decent free product. I just hope they won't start adding a rebranded AVG PC TuneUp in their free products because if they do you can be sure that I'll let every user I assist not to use their products.

Custom install takes care of most things and I didn't get the SafePrice extension installed. I completely agree about the AVG PC Tune up though, if they add that in the future I'll be looking elsewhere too.

Anyone have a problem with Avast and a System File Checker? I read in the forums it will be fixed when you do the Windows 10 Anniversary update.
