Is it safe to still use AppGuard version 4 ?

I am not sure about this but if I am right you can only install Appguard 3 times before getting a hold of support. And so if you decide to go back and use Appguard, keep this in mind.

I did not know that. You mean a license is good for up to 3 machines?
Yes but be aware that it is supposed to be a single machine seat, 3 activations was made for convenience in case of unbootable machine or when you clean install and forgot to uninstall AG.
Using on several devices at same time could violate the Eula and expose you to a license blacklisting.

OK - understood now, I have always used it as single machine seat.

As I said earlier, better use v6 or replace v4 by alternatives, you can get similar protection by combo-ing others apps.
I have v6 at a good discount on one machine ;); if I can't find a repeat next year I may consider the Bravatek rebrand then. Some don't seem to like rebrands, is there really an issue? On the other machine I still have v4, mainly so I can view my previous rules!

But I will probably gravitate towards OSA which probably suffices for me(!), or ERP v4 (which I haven't played with yet, I liked v3 though).

Haven't tried Hard Configurator yet, but I like that Andy is so active, so it is probably a very usable product now!

You have a cheaper rebranded AG

» Tuitio

Support is made by Bravatek not Appguard LLC

Hi,

I using Bravatek Tuitio, it is the same product for half price. Only some cosmetically changes i noticed. Only at this moment i can't use it now after Norton Power Eraser almost broken my system and i needed to do a clean install. I send support a message so hopefully they will help me out. Also good test to see how they support is.

@Umbra what kind of other Antivirus/Anti malware do you recommend what don't give conflicts or do you like?

@thrillskr

SRPs: Appguard
Sandboxes: Rehips, Sandboxie.
Anti-exe: NVT EXeRadarPro, NVT OSArmor
Antilogger/Firewall/Hips: Spyshelter FW
Anti-exploit: HMPA.
AVs: Emsisoft

Only those deserves to be installed on my systems.

Actually the 2 common softs on all my Win10 systems are Appguard and SpyShelter. Then i "cocktail" with some of the others.

If you are a student, why pay for securing your pc? You can easily protect it by using free alternatives.
A very important and valid point missed by the majority. By layering your PC with free alternatives your system can be as effectively protected by commercial softwares.

But, too much protection isn't good either. Getting too paranoid is the number 1 infectious disease in computing world.
