I had thought that they just imitated the design of WiseCare and thus could come across "more serious" and spread a fake program.

WiseCare is sold under various different names, like "Windows Care Genius" as well. It is like AVs using Bitdefender engine.

It's a rebrand of Wise Care. It works the same and will find the same amount of problems.
