Is this a good laptop for personal use?

I bought her Dell laptop that she has now 10 years ago and it's starting to show its age. It came with Windows 8.1, I installed Windows 10 on it about two years ago and it just keeps getting slower, not that it was fast to begin with. I have no experience with Lenovo computers, we've only ever had Dell and Intel processors. But Intel has left a bad taste in my mouth over the years, every laptop I've had from Dell that had Intel has been slow, I don't know if it's because I've always bought the traditional HDD, my mom's laptop is an i5. She just wants something that boots up quickly, she likes the touchscreen, she mainly just browses the web and plays solitaire. How reliable are Lenovo laptops, would I have to worry about the hinges?</p></blockquote><p></p>
