Hi all,
I like playing windows games on Linux and one of the game I'm playing is contacting the domain below that is flagged by Controld AI Malware filter. I put that domain into VirusTotal and none of the AVs is flagging it, is this a false positive or should I be worry?

uc-jw.ucloud.com.cn.ucnaming[.]com

  1. The actual owning domain is ucnaming.com
  2. For the domain names ucloud.com, ucloud.com.cn, and ucnaming.com, only the last returns information about dates and registrant (Chinese).
  3. Those domains don't have an entity main website
I would treat this as suspicious and stop playing the game until things become clearer. If it's not a network game, maybe just Firewall the game altogether to keep playing. Not having a valid HTTPS certificate definitely shows a lack of effort because the certificate is free.

My KES detects it as untrusted because a problem with certificate, ignoring the warning:

Should I go ahead and re-image my laptop just in case? I stopped playing that game since it's a gacha game and requires network.
