You can add it to Chrome - which already has its own web content filtering.

Much more useful would be to add a freeware ad blocker that includes the option to add malicious web content filtering - such as uBlock Origin or Adguard.

Adblockers can of course block malicious sites, but the lists found on the Internet are outdated. The addon from Microsoft is a great addition and recommendable!

The nature of malicious URLs is such that all lists (including Microsoft's) quickly become obsolete.

I've been using it since it was released and have not had any issues with it. Personally I think it's a great add-on and worth using!

Well Chrome already uses Google Safe Browsing, and if you have a Content Blocker, you can block a whole lot more.
