This is on my phone under photos
Hi
jamez, sorry nobody explained this screenshot to you.
This screenshot is not a sign of a hacker on your phone. It is a screen from a security app called
"Android Exploits Anti Hack Spy" (package
org.chickenhook.androidexploits, by Chick3nh00k). It is a vulnerability and stalkerware scanner from the Play Store. Here is what the screenshot shows:
- The "Validate URL" title and the green text (WHOIS servers and a
*.google.com certificate issued by Google Trust Services) come from that app checking a website address.
- The white lines (AppAnalyzer, BillingManager, PersistentCache) are the app's own debug log. "BillingManager" is just the app checking its premium subscriptions.
- "Login cancelled. Select an account to continue" means the app asked you to pick a Google account and the request was closed.
Screenshots end up in Photos automatically, so this one was most likely taken by accident while the app was open. If you don't remember installing this app, uninstall it (Settings → Apps). Either way, it does not show anyone else controlling your phone.
What actually matters for your accounts
If you still believe Facebook, Google and PNC were accessed by someone else, follow the earlier steps in this order. Ideally use another device you trust:
- Google: open Google Security Checkup. Sign out every device you don't recognize, change the password, and check the recovery phone and email.
- PNC: call the number on the back of your card and ask them to review recent activity and lock the card if needed.
- Facebook: use facebook.com/hacked.
Quick check of the Pixel 8 Pro
- Settings → Security & privacy: make sure Google Play Protect is on and reports no harmful apps.
- Settings → Security & privacy → More security & privacy → Device admin apps: only "Find My Device" should normally be enabled there.
- Settings → Accessibility: turn off any downloaded app you don't recognize.
- Settings → Apps → See all apps: uninstall anything you didn't install yourself.
If you want a fully clean start, a factory reset (Settings → System → Reset options → Erase all data) removes every app. Back up your photos first. Do the account steps above too, because a reset does not change your passwords.
If you are still having problems, please reply and tell us what you see on the phone or in your accounts: an unknown login, a purchase, a password change you didn't make, and so on. We'll take it from there.
