WireGuard is a revolutionary VPN protocol that promises better security and faster speeds compared to existing solutions. It was designed to be simpler and uses state-of-the-art cryptography.

Since its merge into Linux Kernel (v5.6) and the release of WireGuard 1.0, we consider the protocol to be ready for wide-scale use. Important privacy issues relating to the WireGuard protocol e.g. frequent automatic key and IP address rotation have been solved by IVPN during its implementation on our servers and apps. We now offer WireGuard to all our subscribers.

I’ve been using IVPN’s wireguard implementation for a while. Now that it’s 1.0 I will use it exclusively in the instances I use a VPN.

They're some kind of pioneers in the matter. I will try Ivpn soon to test the improvements they made.
