Jack Security Configuration (2016)

This is a pretty simple system configuration, however I mostly stay safe by not doing stupid things on my machine. I heavily use my virtual machine (with Ubuntu and Windows 10) for anything that could be risky.

Very similar to my setup. CIS -AV stateful, HIPS safe mode, Auto-Sandbox untrusted. Sandboxie- restricted browsers. WSA IS- max heuristics.

Great setup, but did notice are you not using a VPN? Not saying that it would be needed, but it could add significantly to your security.

Giving ESET Smart Security 9 a try to see how it performs on a real system... Not a lot of options to increase the protection however it's pretty good with this out of the box setup.

Thanks for the good suggestion. I think I will try Sandboxie to see how it performs... I was a long time user of Sandboxie but I've started to use Vmware more intensively and stopped using Sandboxie.

I use ESET on my gaming PC already a year actually.. and then I extend it for another 1 year.
