Has anyone tried the ''scan at startup'' option to see resource usage & boot times etc.

HitmanPRO can detect harmful ( not sure if right term) cookies, is zemana gonna introduce similar thing on browser clean-up?

ZAM 3 currently is almost unusable here, I have been placing malware files inside different system folders: \AppData\ \Windows\ \Windows\system32\ and even in some \Program Files\ (where I get ZAM 3 false positives), and it did not detect anything, so I have uninstalled from my malware testing vistual machine for now, and back to ZAM 2...

I know, that's why I've uninstalled it... but a "Smart Scan" should include unknown files (that can be malware) in the already mentioned (in my previous post) system folders, which are critical, and most of the malware spawn/drop files there...

That would make sense. But I guess they are just scanning for active malware to make the scan as fast as possible.

Active malware usually/specially will be in:

C:\ProgramData\*
C:\Users\<user account>\* + \AppData\* + \Desktop\*

And I guess currently ZAM 3 is not able to detect anything there...

I guess it just looks for processes that are running or that will launch automatically.

I'm using NordVpn. And Zemana takes it as a suspect. Totally a false positive that I already sent for correction.

Zemana takes a suspect k7 total security Chrome extension. İt is false pozitive

It's failing to autoupdate from previous version.
