never disable UAC, sometimes it is the last barrier vs a malware; the rest is good with Avira + Appguard combo

Same as Umbra good but at the very least have UAC on default.I have it on always notify
 
Are there any redundancy between AppGuard and SecureAPlus ? Ofcourse both works very different, but as far the functionality do they complement ?

Added herdProtect for on-demand scanning. So far its very nice.
 
Is there a way I can edit the main thread with updated config ?

But you didn't notice that I upgraded to Windows 8.1 Pro ;) Would be great if you can change that too.

Is EEK redundant when using Bitdefender free as it uses the same engine plus their own engine ?

no EEK is designed to works in infected system and has specific tools for it; not saying it has the second engine.
