I currently have kaspersky but I am thinking of switching to comodo because of their firewall and auto sandbox. If I get zemana premium for signature protection do you think I would be more secure then before?
- Windows Defender
- Windows Firewall
- I also used it up to a week ago, plenty ran some programs to detect hacks, malware & spyware, I was being accessed from many countries (I don't go to porn ites, warez sites, torrent sites - I always keep it safe), I also realized that windows firewall by default not only opens up for skype but for lync too (lync is not required for skype to work), lync can be used as a back door onto your computer for remote admin (similar to teamviewer). I like Microsoft products so won't say anything further.
<facepalm>
Kaspersky Internet Security 2017 vs Comodo Internet Security 8?
What color do you like? Red or Blue?
What care do you prefer? Mercedes or BMW?
What do you like more? Apples or Oranges?
No disrespect to the topic starter.
But please.... A VS B topic
How about this: Try one brand stick with it for lets say the trial period, and then test the other brand for the same amount of time and then report back and make your choice.
Because here on MT (Again please no disrespect) there is a spam regarding VS topic's, and other then adding post/topic count they do not contribute. Specially if in one topic member X claims brand X is the greatest and in 2 hours in a different topic says: brand X sucks..
Even products being compared while they are pretty much exactly the same the only difference is the build number. Lol
Back on topic.
Comodo (I respect them for what they try to do) but it does not get my vote.
Kaspersky? What good can i possible say that has not already been said in their 10+ years of proven security?
Kaspersky is one of those very fortunate companies who deliver top class security and remain doing so.
Sure bugs and issues do happen with any product... And testing scores might vary from month to month.
But Kaspersky is not going to let you down.
Kind Regards,
Nico
I'm glad somebody likes Microsoft products, because I sure don't. I'm stuck with Windows for all the usual reasons...
Hi Nico, thanks. I understand your reasoning. Same goes to the other reply. My intention is not to SPAM, but to try and get an honest opinion of the products that people use and if they actually work. For most people who are not technical, acquiring an av or IS product is a minefield, everyone says their products work, but do they ? If something works I don't mind paying for it (much like buying a bmw or merc, problem is they all have magazines and tech sites stating how GOOD they are, just like the doctors say how GOOD the BIG Pharma's pills & medication are, question is are they ?
