I can say Kaspersky is one of very few paid deserved softwares out there, out performing consistently, Highly Knowledgable , All rounder in each and every aspect. I respect Eugene ..one of my inspirations in Reverse Enginnering followed by Marion Marshalek (G data Principal Malware Researcher , Renowned Reverse Enginner )

I respect and price myself different antiviral programs but I think that the best is, after all, Kaspersy and it is his most Internet users want to have.
This is my opinion.

I use a different AV, but yes Kaspersky is synonymous of reliability and solidity, one of the best products for sure.

Installed a version years ago, initial update took ages, rebooted, Uninstalled, never look at it ever since.

Now my skills improved since that time, i found better security mechanisms so I will probably never use it.

It broke my bootloader once. That's all I have to say. If an AV is in my way, I uninstall. I'm not bending myself backwards to work around the AV.

I tried it after having to replace Bitdefender free, but I can't exclude a website, so I'm currently using Avast free.

Exclude a Web Site in Kaspersky Home products: Settings -> Protection -> Web AntiVirus -> Advanced Settings -> Configure Trusted URLs

You may also add exclusions to Anti-Banner and Private Browsing modules...

Kaspersky scan of downloaded files + Bitdefender TrafficLight + Forticlient AV with its webfilter = an unbeatable signature based protection.

in my case I prefer bitdefender although I usually get better grades in the av tests I note that in this forum they do not think the same

To be honest, if I didn't use default-deny solutions and if KIS initial update is faster now, I would use it. I don't see a better home user full suite at the moment.
