Use USA IP to download and install but employ Russian IP to use.

It works normally, there is no need to use a Russian or American IP, I downloaded and installed it with a US IP and I am using the program with my normal IP here in Argentina

I want to wait and see what happens to the program in September when it no longer is allowed to receive updates. What purpose is it going to serve then? Will we be able to uninstall?

Kaspersky is not going under, it's just banned in US. You can always use a VPN to receive updates or download the removal tool.

That's a good point. But, honestly it's already difficult to find the removal tool for macOS and Google search points to outdated documentation.

I don't question the integrity of the company, it's intentions are probably good but with what is going on in the world the Russian government can change all of that in the blink of an eye and since most security software (including Kaspersky) need kernel level access for it's protection to work is the reason I choose not to use it at this moment. Obviously the U.S. government see's something that the rest of us don't.
