Kaspersky Slow to Start

I should add however that,for me personally,the small increase in boot time is insignificant for the level of protection that Kaspersky provides

My kaspersky 2015 starts after 15-20 mins Dual core,2gb

My system shuts down in 3 seconds, boot on 14 seconds. No SSD but a Sata W.D black 1TB HDD. I'm with ESET here, quihoo and a lot of other AV's did impact these timings by a lot.
